9b Coplands Drive
Stromness
The Bevan family were outgrowing their existing house and an extension was proposed to allow more living space. The rear extension opens off the kitchen and creates a multi-use family room with direct access to the large garden via french glazed doors.
The well lit space is enjoyed by the children to play and allows Karen more space to bake her amazing cakes.

A large opening was created in the existing rear wall to allow maximum flow of space from the existing kitchen to the extended living space. Skylights were created in the coombe ceiling providing a feeling of light and space to this modest extension.
